The Legacy of the Plains is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant. Applicants must be hard-working, dependable, self-starter, and work well with others. The position will be 20-25 per week, with one weekend day and some nights are required.
Duties include, but not limited too:
- Runs the register each day for admission and sales, runs reports, balance the drawer, and complete bank deposits.
- Answers the phone.
- Data Entry/record keeping
- Volunteer recruitment, coordination, and training
- Assist with event planning
- Assist with invoices
- Welcome guests
- Assist with social media, website, and other projects
- Coordinate community room rentals, tour buses, school events, and other events happening at the museum
