The Museum has three new additions we would like to introduce. The goats are a 4-H project for our Executive Director’s daughter, and the little goats have made themselves right at home. They are located next to our Wiedeman Farmstead and are very friendly to visit. We have pictures below.

One of them is missing something. He does not have a name. We are having a naming contest to see what to call this little guy.
The rules are simple.
You can suggest a name for the male goat by emailing use at info@legacyoftheplains.org, calling us
at 308-436-1989, visiting us on our Facebook event, or suggest one as
Skunky
you are coming out to visit the museum. The last date for submitting a name is July 9th.
Once the suggestions are in, we will pick the five best ones, and we will have a social media poll to determine the name. The poll will be open until July 31. Once the votes are tallied, we will introduce the name. The person who suggests the winning name will receive a free membership to the museum. If we have multiple people that suggested the name, we will have a drawing to determine the winner.
