This holiday tradition kicks off the holiday events at the Legacy of the Plains. A hot lunch with your choice of soups is served from 11-2. It includes homemade bread, brownie and beverage. A hotdog meal with chips, brownie and beverage is also available. Hayrack rides, marshmallow roasting, children’s crafts, musical entertainment and cowboy coffee help to bring this Christmas event to life. Kids can write letters to Santa and send them via Pony Express to Santa’s Village in downtown Gering. About 40 Trees Along the Trail trees will be up and ready for viewing. Come enjoy the sights, sounds, and fun of a good old-fashioned Christmas!
