Legacy of the Plains Museum’s mission is to preserve our community’s most priceless treasures—the stories, culture, and values of this special place. These unique assets belong to every one of us. We can all play a role in helping to pass them down to the next generation.
Legacy of the Plains Museum is a member-supported private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors. With minimal staff, much of the accomplishments of the museum are made possible by the support of dedicated volunteers. The museum’s success is also made possible by the financial support of our members, donors, and business supporters.
