Huge museum with lots and lots of agriculture machines. Outside is an even larger collection of antique farm equipment, baby cows, and a fun playground for kids. If you enjoy antique farm machinery, this place is for you.

We have visited, brought visitors and been volunteers for years. During the special events at the museum we suggest you get tickets early. If you are visiting the area this is a must see. Make sure you visit all the out buildings also. There is a lot to see, do and learn about the area from past to present. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have. If you wish to be a part of keeping our Histories growing ask any volunteer or staff they will be able to help you. Thank You Tom and Shelley Rowlee

It's more focused towards kids than adults, a lot of learning activities on-site for kids, hands-on displays. I'm thinking school field trips to the museum would be fun. I drove out here from Laramie WY to checkout Scottsbluff and stumbled across this museum as something to do. It was extremely hot summer of 2026 and it made navigating outside very difficult here. I spent most of my time in the main building. There's an introduction video you can sit and watch before proceeding or you can just go right in and stroll through the exhibits. A ton of history here. You'll learn everything there is to know about different farming methods and tools used over the decades. A lot of local and regional history is explained very well. There are some outdated and non-functional displays but overall very cool. I loved their technology evolution wall that leads to the smartphone. That's neat. I did not go to most of the other buildings except for the tractor building due to the extreme heat. It was rather warm inside the main building. The tractor building was extremely hot, not just warm, but hot. It was a sauna in there - there's no air conditioning and no moving air at all - just the smell of oil and fuel from old tractors. Parking lot is all dirt as far as I could tell, it had just rained the day before and there was a bunch of muddy spots. Overall it was a great experience, but definitely more for kids than adults.

Nice people, informative displays. Main building was air conditioned, and tractor and harvester buildings were well insulated so not too hot on the 100 degree day we visited on. Were offered headphones for the audio portion, but many displays had such good signage they really weren’t needed.
